Domestic Service

UPS – UPS GROUND SERVICE: Rates vary according to destination and weight of package. We cannot ship UPS Ground to P.O. Boxes. Orders are received, processed, and shipped with 3-10 Business days.

UP2 – UPS TWO DAY SERVICE: Rates vary according to destination and weight of package. Orders are processed, received and shipped to destination within 2-5 business days. Orders must be received by 10:30 AM EST. Any orders received after 10:30 AM will begin their processing cycles on the next business day.

P.O Box shipments and orders destined for Alaska, Hawaii and the U.S territories are not eligible for this service.


International Customers

Shipping:

  • Orders with standard shipping will be shipped by USPS Priority International (United States Postal Service). See below for estimated arrival times.
  • Express orders are shipped by UPS or FedEx.
  • Customer must pay any customs, duties and/or taxes at delivery of the package.
  • If any package is refused or undeliverable, customer will be responsible for any additional fees and the original shipping cost is non-refundable.

Payments:

  • Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, any Bankcard with the Visa or MasterCard logo and Paypal (please email us: orders@dorisnewyork.com to pay with Paypal and include what products you would like, your shipping address and phone number).

Returns:

Due to the high cost of shipping, Doris New York does not provide returns on international orders.

P.O. BOXES AND APO/FPO ADDRESSES
UPS does not ship to P.O. Boxes or Military APO/FPO addresses. Orders being sent to P.O. Boxes or Military APO/FPO addresses must be shipped via the Untied States Postal Service and Priority shipping methods(Overnight or 2nd Day Service) are not available.

RULES AND RESTRICTIONS
Some items sold by DorisNewYork.com require special handling as specified by federal, state and local regulations governing the transport of these items. The method of shipment for these items is dictated by these regulations. We comply with these regulations; therefore the shipment of some products to certain locations may not be possible.

If this affects your order, we apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for understanding. If you wish to provide an alternative physical address in the United States to which we can deliver, we will be happy to ship your full order.

Products can only be billed or shipped to destinations within the United States and Canada. We apologize for any inconvenience.

PLEASE NOTE: *ALL PURCHASES ARE SUBJECT TO BANK AUTHORIZATION PRIOR TO PROCESSING. ONLY AUTHORIZED PURCHASES WILL BE PROCESSED AND SHIPPED. IF YOUR ORDER CANNOT BE PROCESSED, AN E-MAIL NOTIFICATION WILL BE SENT TO E-MAIL ADDRESS LISTED.


RETURN POLICY

Online
We are committed to our customer's satisfaction with our merchandise beyond the point of sale. We are pleased to offer a Doris New York Store Credit, but cannot at this time offer returned funds. Merchandise may be returned by mail within 30 days of purchase when accompanied by the following:

  • return authorization number
  • original receipt
  • packing slip
  • all original packaging

We cannot accept returns without prior authorization. Items sent back without the return authorization number, will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense.

A return authorization number may be obtained by calling : 1-800-531-8317 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (Eastern Standard Time). Please write the return authorization number on your packing slip. Our customer service representative will provide you further instruction on sending your merchandise return to Doris New York Hair Care Products, Inc.

Refunds will be processed in the form of Doris New York Store Credit. This credit will be in the form of a online coupon code that will be able to be used when placing your new order.

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Doris New York Gift Cards
  • Product Samples
  • Any opened or used product
  • Individual products purchased as part of a set (the entire set must be returned)

While we are unable to process new orders via the return process, if you wish to replace the item, please place another order online.

For your protection and to ensure prompt delivery, we recommend that you send your return via UPS or insured Parcel Post. We're sorry, return shipping fees are not refundable. In the case of damaged items, please refer to damaged items section below.

Damaged Items
When your order arrives, please inspect the carton for any damage that may have occurred during shipment. It is normal for the shipping carton to show some wear, however, if damage occurred to the items in your shipment, please contact Doris New York Customer Service: 1-800-531-8317 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our customer service representatives will be happy to assist you.

Cancellation Policy
Please bear in mind that our order-fulfillment and shipping systems are designed to get orders on their way quickly and efficiently. Normally the same day. Therefore, we cannot change or cancel an order once it has been submitted.

Note:
Please note that after UPS attempts to deliver your package three times it will be returned to Doris New York. Please understand that you will be charged for reshipment and any additional fees that are directly charged to Doris New York from UPS due to redirection of shipment. To avoid this please make sure that you contact your local UPS office after they have made the first attempt. This way you may set up a time to pick up your package from UPS or schedule a time for them to deliver when you know you will be home.
